Keratin is a natural protein that is the main building block of hair. The interior of the hair shaft is composed of spirally twisted keratin fibrils connected with each other by transverse sulphide bonds, which are responsible for the hair's elasticity. Keratin is also a component of the hair sheath, which makes the hair look healthy and shiny and reduces its tendency to split at the ends.

100% liquid keratin contains smaller keratin protein particles that penetrate the hair more easily, repairing damage.
