Properties and applications
Elastin is a fibrous protein found together with collagen in connective tissue.
Thanks to the ductility and elasticity of its fibers, it provides the skin with the desired elasticity.
The human body produces elastin fibers only until the age of 25
disappearance occurs at the age of 40-50. As a result of these unfavorable changes, the skin loses its originality
freshness and elasticity, it becomes dry and wrinkled. (illustration below)
