Dandruff occurs as a result of changes caused by seborrheic dermatitis. It usually first appears in adolescents during puberty on the scalp.
Seborrheic dermatitis begins with dry dandruff, at which time we may notice increased greasiness of the hair, but these changes are not yet so pronounced, instead there is a fine bran-like scaling of the epidermis. These changes may cluster in several foci or appear over the entire scalp.
The most visible symptom of dandruff is just those tiny white flakes we find on our clothes. Smaller, tiny flakes may simply form as a result of physiological exfoliation of the epidermis and have nothing to do with dandruff.
Dandruff can form as a result of:
use of inappropriate skin care products,
inaccurate rinsing of conditioners and shampoo s from the hair,
improper care of the scalp,
prolonged fatigue and stress,
improper nutrition,
a weakened body with chronic illness,
excessive use of hairspray and mousse.
Scientists have found that frequent washing does not increase seborrhea, but it perfectly cleanses the epidermis and prevents the appearance of candida, which irritates the scalp and causes annoying itching and redness.
Anti-dandruff complex and Dead Sea mud help fight the causes of dandruff and its symptoms.
